I am sick of receiving bids for $25,000-40,000 when there is absolutely no reason for it to be that high! If you are a professional sider who would be willing to guarantee your work and do it at a very fair price, please send me a message with your bid. I do not want the bottom of the line siding and I know I can purchase it myself for much less than what I would pay for a sider to purchase it. I am strictly asking for someone to come in and do the job, and do it right!

The soffet and fascia is 335 sq. ft.
4 sq. ft for porch ceiling.

46 feet of fascia

how do I continue installing vinyl siding from one wall to the other when there is a elevation difference?

The question pertains to the starter strip. Do you go with “J” channel or undersill strip or do you use both?

is it ok to put vinyl siding on top of cedar siding? I am not sure if there is rotten wood underneath the?

cedar siding. But when getting an estimate aren’t they supposed to ask? or check it? The guy who gave me the estimate told me that you can put siding on top of the cedar siding which i think might be rotten underneath. is this one way for them to just do that job and get their money and let the whole thing rot and fall off?

I’ve searched a half dozen sites, and can only find ‘ivy’ green (very dark) or a very light green/grayish color called ‘moss’. I’d like something that best approaches olive or army fatigue green, but none comes even close to that. This big house sits next to a state park. Ideas?

Is there a spray that you can use on vinyl siding that prevents cobwebs and bugs from sticking to the siding?

The east and the north side of our vinyl sided house has cobwebs and bugs from the morning or night air that cling to the house. I do not have that problem with the west and south side of the house. You can’t wipe them off without it sticking else where. Is there something that you can spray on or wipe on to prevent the “junk” from sticking or at least make it easy to wipe off with a broom or a rag? I thought maybe a furniture wax, but thought that might yellow in the direct sun. I thought of car products such as spray on wax, but am unsure what that would do to vinyl.

Is there a way to fix vinyl siding that is heat warped?

D/H left the gas grille too close to the house and now the vinyl siding has warped. Is there a recommended way to reheat it or fix it without replacing the entire area?

I am wanting to hang a plaque next to my front door and my house is vinyl siding. I don’t want any holes drilled. Is there a small device that is available to put between the slats of siding?
