We are aloud to replace the siding as long as it’s the same color. The people who lived in the house before me bolted huge window boxes under all the windows. I removed them but the siding underneath was damaged. There are also some chips in the corners of the siding that need to be replaced. I have noticed that some of the siding goes from my house all across my neighbors house (we share the siding). How would this siding be replaced? Would I just have to replace the damaged pieces and leave the rest alone?
