What’s the best way to clean mildew off your vinyl siding?

I would think some bleach diluted would work but it’s nasty to work with.
If you apply the bleach, jomax and all, can you leave it to disappear, or have to scrub it off also?

How do we get the mildew off our exterior wood siding on our house? Bleach then press wash?
