i want to paint my vinyl siding and i heard to use either acrylic paint or a mix with urethane?

any ideas if this will work. also would it be possible to paint with a spray gun machine like a dewalt? will this work or is there a rental one i could get that will work better or do i use good old fashioned brush.

what is the difference between vinyl siding and fiber cement board siding? i have heard that fiber cement is?

more upscale. is this true? is there a big difference in the look? how do they differ in appearance? whats so great about it?
