We do quite a bit, we also have a row boat we go out on the pond in. The only bad things about the woods are the ticks. We have a lot of Lyme disease around here, my husband has had it twice. So before we go walking we have to take all the precautions, bug spray, etc.
Beautiful view! I think I’d be outside all the time walking through those woods.
Except for the part where I’m in a blind panic that he is going to slide down the steel rook to his death or dismemberment! LOL! I’m one of those folks that hate heights (notice I’m IN the house).
What a lovely way to see the sunset on top of your own roof with the one you love. And what a great sunset.
Thanks Liz, they are pretty trees. Most of ours (the maples) have lost their leaves, but those three trees of the neighbors seem to be at peak. Not sure what they are!
Thanks! That’s the low roof…I wouldn’t get on it either. The top roof is another story tall and REALLY scary! Eventually we will have a deck along almost the entire back of the house, about 40 ft. long. The front of the house will have a small 10×16 foot deck off our office door. I hope to have a pergola roof on it with grape vines growing over it. At least that’s the current plan!
I am so awed by your beautiful surroundings! But, I’d never get up on that roof, lol. In FL, people build decks on top of their houses, and with that view, maybe you should consider one!
those red trees on the Beaver Pond are incredible!!! pretty pix, pretty house, handsome couple!
