Is there maybe some type of amplifier or outdoor antenna?

So you live within a Faraday Cage, lucky you, you should be well protected in the event of an EMP burst from a nuclear weapon detonation. If the Faraday Cage is ungrounded, it would act more like an antenna than a shield however that may be dangerous should lightning strike your house, a better approach would be to make strategic cuts in the siding, perhaps sealing the cuts with something non-conductive like bondo, these would be holes the size of the radio wavelengths that you wish to pass through but you could probably leave the metal disc cut out in place so long as it’s not grounded to the rest of the siding, it may be easier to make a series of horizontal and vertical cuts, sealing each cut with bondo or epoxy and allowing that to cure before making the next cut rather than having the insert fall loose, the result should be a grid of isolated metal squares large enough to allow the radio waves of the frequencies required to pass through, if done right, the squares could be strips the size of the radio wavelength perhaps in a fractal pattern so that they act as a radio dipole antenna, a number of different length strips electrically connected could act as an antenna for several frequencies and if done right could turn the side of your house into one hell of a DTV antenna. I’ve often thought of doing this to my radiant barrier in the attic.

Yes, switch to a wired type system.
