How much should I expect to pay to have vinyl siding installed?

The house is one story with a gable roof and approximate dimensions are 25 ft wide and 40 ft deep.

What is a reasonable price to pay someone to put vinyl siding on the house? It is located in a far western suburb of Chicago.

$2200 – $2800 installed, depending on the quality of the siding.

get several bids from reputable contractors , and you will have your answer , you don’t have to take the most expensive but never accept the cheapest especially if it is really cheap good luck from TEXAS

I would have several contractors actually come out and do measurements, etc. and give you a written estimate, then check them out with the better business bureau and ask them for the names of some recent customers and drive by to see what kind of job they did. Call Sears and some other well known stores such as Lowes and ask them the same question. That way you will know the top price you will be looking at.
