Cleaning up steel house siding?

My husband wants to clean up the (steel) siding of our house. It’s white and it’s very dirty collecting dust for years before we moved to the house last year. What is the best way to do this? Should we use pressure washer? Or just use a ladder and a mop/scrubber (though we wonder how we’ll reach the high areas since it’s a two story house)? Anything else? We’re worried if we use pressure wash, water can seep in between the siding into the house too, never done this before. Anyone have any experience?

Talk to a pro. If you pressure wash, just take care not to direct the water into gaps, or else the wood sheathing can get wet, never to dry again (especially depending on where you live and what the climate is). The beauty of aluminum and vinyl siding is supposed to be that you can just pressure wash it, and never have to paint it.
